Men hva handler egentlig hypen om?  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hva er Keto-dietten?<\/h2>\n\n<p>&#8216;Keto&#8217; st\u00e5r for Ketogenic diett, en ekstrem form for lavkarbo-dietten. Kort oppsummert betyr det at du spiser store mengder fett, en beskjeden mengde protein og sv\u00e6rt lite karbohydrater. Men det er absolutt ikke et sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l om &#8220;g\u00e5 videre og spis&#8221;. Ideelt sett f\u00e5r du med Keto-dietten omtrent 70 til 80 prosent av dine daglige kalorier fra fett, omtrent 10 til 20 prosent fra proteiner og omtrent 5 til 10 prosent fra karbohydrater [i].   <\/p>\n\n<p>Fett inneholder flere kalorier per gram enn karbohydrater og proteiner. N\u00e5r du spiser mer kalorier enn kroppen din trenger, kan det til slutt f\u00f8re til vekt\u00f8kning. Men det er mulig \u00e5 g\u00e5 ned i vekt p\u00e5 en fettfokusert diett, s\u00e5 lenge du holder deg n\u00f8ye til programmet. Til \u00e5 begynne med g\u00e5r du ned i vekt fordi kroppen din mister v\u00e6ske som svar p\u00e5 det <strong>drastisk reduserte karbohydratinntaket<\/strong> . Slik fungerer det: Cellene i kroppen din foretrekker normalt \u00e5 f\u00e5 energi fra glukose (sukker som kommer fra karbohydratene du f\u00e5r i deg)[ii] .  Hvis du f\u00f8lger en diett med sv\u00e6rt lite karbohydrater og mye fett, vil kroppen g\u00e5 over fra \u00e5 brenne sukker til \u00e5 brenne fett.
